Vienna Woods, Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, Mayerling, Helenental !

This trip takes us to the nicest and most famous part of the Vienna woods. We visit the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, pass by the former hunting lodge in Mayerling where Crown Prince Rudolf died under mysterious circumstances with his mistress in the year 1889.

After a drive through the romantic valley Helenental, we arrive in Baden, the spa town, where we take a short city walk. On the way back to Vienna, we pass by the vine-covered hills of Gumpoldskirchen, with its famous wine taverns.
